FAQ

General FAQ

Why aren’t your ebooks currently at my preferred retailer?
Part of being an independent publisher is taking risks and exploring new opportunities, and as an experiment, I enrolled all my books in Amazon’s new Kindle Owners’ Lending Library program in which Amazon Prime subscribers can borrow my books free. In order to participate, I had to sell my ebooks exclusively at Amazon for 3 months. I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Who is your agent?
Currently, I am not signed with an agent; however, I have the honor of working with Damaris Rowland of the Damaris Rowland Agency and Lori Antonson of the Axelrod Agency, who represent me and my books in foreign rights offers. If you are a foreign publisher interested in pursuing the rights to one of my books, please email Lori Antonson or contact me directly.

Do you do interviews or guest blogs?
Yes. Email me. I love hopping around the internet.

Will you review my book?
I love reading, but I don’t do book reviews.

Historical Fiction FAQ

What is your next Jane Austen sequel about, and when will it come out?
It’s no secret that I love Austen, and I have ideas for two more sequels, but I’m still working on my schedule for 2013 and have no release dates at present.

Is the Personages of Pride & Prejudice Collection coming out in paperback?
Yes. You can find it at BN and Amazon.

Southern Fraud FAQ

What is the title of Southern Fraud 3?
At Fault is the working title, and it will focus on large-scale automobile insurance fraud, muscle cars, and drag racing.

When will the next book in the series be out?
I promise to try to release books in a timely manner, but I also promise not to insult those of you who have chosen to read my books by putting out novels that are not up to the highest standards possible or by delaying publication dates. So I’ll be announcing release dates as they firm up, probably 1 to 2 months in advance.

Whiteley Press FAQ

Does Whiteley Press publish other authors? Does Whiteley Press accept queries from prospective authors?
Yes and No. Whiteley Press is publishing Riding Fear Free, which is cowritten by Laura Daley and Jennifer Becton. This will likely be our only outside-ish publishing venture, and we are not seeking new titles.

I need an editor or proofreader. Can you help me find one?
Maybe. Email me privately, and I’ll see if I can help.

Who is your cover artist?
So far, I’ve done all my covers using art pieces from iStockphoto, but as much as I love doing them, I hope to start commissioning custom pieces for Southern Fraud soon.
