Jane Austen’s family coat of arms. |
Ever wanted to know what your name might be if you were a character in one of Jane Austen’s novels or perhaps a member of Regency society? Well, here’s your chance.
Take this handy one-question quiz that I found yesterday while on Twitter.
First, I was Mrs. Eliza Brown.
Then, I was Mrs. Cassandra Courtland.
I like the second better.
How quick come the reasons for approving what we like! –Jane Austen

I like your second better as well, but Eliza Brown isn't all that bad 😉 I lucked out with Miss Julia Davenport which rocks. I put in my husband's name and he would be Reverend Ned Dowkins. I am in stitches.
I got Bridget Whitby. It sounds too much like the flibbertigibbet side character. The husband is Sir Ralph Reynolds. Looks like we're doomed to be the comic relief!
Oh I forgot to do DH's name! Hang on…
My husband is Sir Arthur Watson. I wonder how he came to the title? Hopefully, he's a baronet and not a knight. More prestige. LOL How silly.
LOL I got Miss Bella Forster
