FAQ

General FAQ

Why aren’t your ebooks currently at my preferred retailer?
Part of being an independent publisher is taking risks and exploring new opportunities, and occasionally, I enroll my books in Amazon’s new Kindle Owners’ Lending Library program in which Amazon Prime subscribers can borrow my books free. This requires 3 months of exclusively at Amazon. I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

However, because I sell my ebooks DRM-free, you can purchase a copy from any retailer and convert the file to whatever type you need using a free downloadable program such as Calibre.

Who is your agent?
Currently, I am not signed with an agent; however, I have the honor of working with Damaris Rowland of the Damaris Rowland Agency and Lori Antonson of the Axelrod Agency, who represent me and my books in foreign rights offers. If you are a foreign publisher interested in pursuing the rights to one of my books, please email Lori Antonson or contact me directly.

I would like to sell your paperbacks in my store. Can I do that? If so, how?
Yes! And thank you! I’m grateful for the opportunity to offer books for sale in physical locations, and I have set up an easy, safe way to become a seller of Whiteley Press, LLC, paperbacks. Please visit my distributor to fill out their quick and easy “Reseller Application.” Using this system, you will be able to order directly from the printer and deal one-on-one with the distributor, ensuring low wholesale pricing, easy returns, fast shipping, and reliable customer service.

Do you do interviews or guest blogs?
Yes. Email me. I love hopping around the internet.

Will you review my book? Will you take a look at my manuscript?
I love reading, but I don’t do book reviews, and I no longer work as an editor.

Austenesque FAQ

What is your next Jane Austen sequel about, and when will it come out?
It’s no secret that I love Austen, and I am working on the next work in the Personages of Pride and Prejudice Collection: Mary Bennet, a novella.

Southern Fraud FAQ

What is the title of Southern Fraud 6?
Sunset Clause

When will the next book in the series be out?
I promise to try to release books in a timely manner, but I also promise not to insult those of you who have chosen to read my books by putting out novels that are not up to the highest standards possible or by delaying publication dates. My goal is to release one book every six months, but I reserve the right to adjust my schedule based on reality.
