This week, I’ve been busy tackling a task I’ve been putting off for a while. Updating books, in this case Riding Fear Free. Updating books is one of the less pleasant tasks indie authors must undertake from time to time. Honestly, It doesn’t sound all that bad, but when you consider that you have to update and upload each ebook file individually, then you can begin to see the full workload.
And then, there are those fun, little unexpected snags that always show up. Like a certain company who has “improved” their uploading system so that now you have to format the document slightly differently, or the same certain company whose “improved” software doesn’t want to work right.
So a task that shouldn’t take more than a few hours took me 3 days to complete.
I’ll publish all the updates in pdf so that you can see them for yourselves. Nothing about the content of Riding Fear Free has changed. We just added some trainer and rider endorsement blurbs, updated links, and took care of a few housekeeping matters.
